In the privacy of your own home, you to can become a WRSC official scorer, this is a link to the software the club uses for all its races, if you want to help (REMEMBER 2 things, 1 -we are a volunteer organization, 2-unless someone does the scoring the following happens:
a- scores do not get posted for the regatta
b- RC has to do it the old way with pencil and paper
c-racers have to try and read the RC writing
d- results do not get sent to the following:
  • 1- CBYRA
  • 2- WRSC web site
  • 3- WRSC news letter
  • 4-local newspapers
  • 5-class association

if you feel that you have not been given adequate recognition for being on a RACE COMMITTEE because someone forgot to put your name on the score sheet then here is a solution

If you go to the link and scroll down to SOARS this is a US Sailing link which allows a US Sailing member to put in their record of being on Race Committees, it is relatively simple, you do have to be able to read, type and comprehend english and you do not have to just do RC duty on big events but you can enter even the WRSC summer series AND YOU CAN PUT IN PASTYEARS to get official credit,

Once you figure out the procedure it takes about 5 minutes or less to punch in your credits on each of the times you have done RC duty at the club,

US Sailing also designed this based on the average IQ of the average sailor (-120)
